2009/10 first young black South African to venture into biofuel, starting his own biodiesel refinery company ‘Khwezi Oils’; its operations closed due to no policies around biofuel refineries. A knack for ‘infrastructure development’, 2016 started at Edison Property Group as Project Director – Oceans Umhlanga Hotel. Flanked by 25 years of banking experience, 40 years entrepreneurial savvy business acumen, 20 years of engineering experience; this media communications & business strategist began the journey of his most highlighted milestones of his professional career. His next season of his speaking career began, the voice of influence and inspiration!
2017 appointed (Chairman’s Right-Hand Man) and Corporate Affairs Executive. At the turn of Edison Power Group’s 40th Anniversary and 65th Birthday of the Founder Vivian Reddy; in 2018 assumed role of EPG’s further expansion into the African continents biggest economic regions, SADC, ECOWAS, COMESA and ECCAS; flanked by the team who been driving EPG’s growth over the past 4decades. Focus on Renewable Energy (Green Economy), Smart Energy, Electrical Power Infrastructure development. 

Lamo Solar - Co-founder and executive chairman
Elmond Khoza is the co-founder and executive chairman of Lamo Solar, a
fast growing engineering, procurement and construction solar photovoltaic
firm. In his role he ensures the company brings cutting-edge solar energy
solutions through innovation, with a desire to provide solutions that are in
harmony with the environment and also sustainable for the future. Elmond
has an eight year track record of working in the renewable energy sector.
