The key objective of the Paris Agreement, as it affects Africa, is to drive and fund a knowledge and technology transfer to
develop Climate-Smart Resilient Cities. This technology transfer is already underway through the green economy, and requires greater levels of facilitation by more advanced cities that are leading by implementing smart sustainable service delivery and by creating intelligent private sector-enabling policy frameworks.
