Aman Chitkara

Aman leads the Mobility Data and Digitalization project at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. At WBCSD, he works with leading businesses, governments and other stakeholders to develop, implement and scale tangible strategies and towards a cleaner, safer, more efficient and more accessible mobility future.

With over a decade of experience in the energy and transportation sectors, Aman has advised numerous government and business sector clients, led multi-stakeholder initiatives and produced knowledge papers on topics spanning mobility data, advanced battery and energy storage technologies, EV charging infrastructure, electricity market and business model restructuring, and climate action plans.

Before joining WBCSD, Aman worked with Rocky Mountain Institute, where he led RMI’s engagements with the Government of India on their mobility policies, supported the State of New York on its Reforming the Energy Vision initiative, and the City of Fort Collins on its Climate Action plan, besides several other engagements with private stakeholders on new business models and energy transition strategies. He has also worked with ICF International and Gade Environmental Group, where he consulted public and private sector clients on power market evolution scenarios, energy efficiency and carbon market related projects.

Aman holds a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelors in Engineering from Delhi University.
