Ellis Levember

CEO of South African Essential Oil Business Incubator (SEOBI), which was established in April 2006 after receiving initial funding from Seda Technology Programme (STP). Seobi became a Private Business Incubator after their contract with Seda expired in March 2018.

Seobi is currently in a partnership with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Agricultural Research Council (ARC) and the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) to strengthen the smallholder essential oils value chain via local innovation systems and feasibility studies for industrial loan finance. This programme is supported by the Department of Science and Innovation.

Ellis established the first Wellness Market in South Africa. This market partners with over 50 SMEs in the Wellness Industry, providing them a permanent platform to trade, network and build their businesses without the constraints of expensive rental space, huge monthly overheads etc. He is actively promoting inclusive economic participation through innovative incubation.

Ellis was the CEO and founder of Spectrum Finance Pty Ltd, an investment company that was registered with the Financial Services Board.

He serves as a board member of the Tshwane School of Music and he is a founding member of the Tshwane East Business Chamber.

Finally, Ellis is a well-rounded entrepreneur, community leader and philanthropist, whose motto in life is: Going from Good to Great
