Cluster Leader Sustainability – Greater Middle East and Africa

Rodney joined Tetra Pak 10years ago, as Environment Manager for the South African market. Soon after joining he became the Environment Cluster Leader for Sub Saharan Africa, a position he held for 3 years. He was then promoted as Cluster Leader Environment for Greater Middle East and Africa, broadening his experience in this region over a period of 4 years.

Rodney moved into a role as Cluster Sustainability Director in July 2018,where he focused on working closer with Customersand Retailers on joint Sustainability initiatives.

In October 2019 Rodney was promoted to Cluster Leader Sustainability for Greater Middle East and Africa.

He worked for a National Management and Recycling Company prior to joining Tetra Pak, initially as a Business Consultant and thereafter as Marketing and Sales Director for the Company. Rodney spent many years as a Business Consultant, developing Marketing, Sales and Business strategies for small and medium sized Companies.

Rodney has a Bachelor of Commerce Marketing degree, and believes that Sustainability is crucial for any Company to survive in today’s world, it’s about a brand or Company taking responsibilityfor everything that they do across the entire value chain.

Rodney is married to Barbara and has 2 daughters, Stephanie and Juliette.
