Mr Balanganani (Bala) Nengovhela has approximately 20 years’ experience in waste management sector. He is currently working for the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) as a Specialist: Solid Waste Management. SALGA is the organization which has been established to support, advice and represent all 257 municipalities in South Africa. Prior joining SALGA, Bala worked for the City of Johannesburg, Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment, GDARD and Enviro-Fill.
In terms of educational qualification, Bala has a BSc Honours in Environmental Management from the University of South Africa
