President of the Southern African Energy Efficiency Confederation and Standard Bank Senior Manager leading engineering design and energy management for the Bank’s real estate portfolio. Passionate about the sustainable design and energy management of facilities across 20 African countries, he has developed corporate strategies, engineering specifications, efficiency standards, digital systems and people in his sustainable journey. As of the end of 2019 the reduction of Scope 1 and 2 GHG emission targets resulted in an excess of 80 000 tons of CO2e through energy efficiency projects and more than 10 000 tons of CO2e produced through renewable energy. Keith has a wealth of energy production experience developing Gas Turbine power plants at Eskom (08’-12’) and large-scale efficiency experience at BHP Billiton’s Aluminium Smelters (06’-08’). He has bachelor’s and master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (06’), a practising Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng), Certified Energy Manager International (CEM), Net Zero Accredited Professional and pursuing studies to be a Wellness Accredited Professional.
