Project Manager, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Ngoanathari currently works as a project manager for the Industrial Energy Efficiency Program. In this role, she works with industry, government, policy makers and financial institutions to implement and mainstream energy efficiency, renewable energy, and other low carbon solutions across all South African industrial sectors. Her areas of expertise include energy and water efficiency, renewable energy, ISO 50001 energy management systems, energy system transition, decarbonisation, carbon foot-printing, life cycle management, climate change mitigation, green industrialization and circular economy.
Ngoanathari is a chemical engineer with extensive process and production engineering experience within the manufacturing sector. She also has a masters degree in engineering management majoring in complex systems thinking. She is a UNIDO certified expert in ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS) implementation and Resource Efficient Cleaner Production (RECP). She is also facilitates training in these fields. Ngoanathari is also a RENAC certified expert in Energy and Power Systems Transformation.
