Temo Process is a 100% black-owned South African small enterprise and a solutions provider to the minerals processing industry. Established in 2010 by Tumi Matsebedi, a Pr. Eng, with a Bsc (Hons) Metallurgy from the University of Pretoria. It’s focus is fines beneficiation in various commodities i.e. ferro-chrome, chromite, coal and iron ore. This is achieved through a focus on emerging technologies resulting in increased efficiencies and a reduced total cost of ownership. The team consists of highly skilled metallurgists with extensive experience in fines beneficiation and speciality in key technologies.
Temo Process has a proven track record in delivering turnkey projects in various mineral processing applications to industry, including mineral processing technologies, mineral processing consumables and mineral processing services.
- Process optimisation/turnkey process engineering solution – process engineering related work conducted in brownfields operations with the objective of increasing efficiencies and reducing operating costs.
- Crushing & screening – this service is offered for ore or final product preparation to suit specific client needs. The approach entails using reliable time studies coupled with optimal operations and maintenance systems to ensure client’s targets are met in terms of product quality and tonnes produced.
In collaboration with Mineral Technologies, a world leader in separation technologies, Temo Process supplies spiral concentrators for fine beneficiation to the coal, chrome and iron ore mines.
In October 2018, Temo Process was accepted into the Hatch supplier development programme. The programme’s objective is to provide business support and development, skills development as well as building new capabilities and capacity in small businesses.
