Valerie is currently the National Coordinator for South Africa in a global programme called the Economic Empowerment of Women in Green Industry implemented by UNIDO in partnership with UN Women.The purpose of this programme is to advise policy makers and practitioners on the establishment of an enabling policy framework to integrate Gender and Green industry policies. The ultimate objective of the programme is to improve and increase leadership and participation of women as entrepreneurs and industry professionals in Green Industry, thus advancing green industrialization.
